Research program
The Centre runs regular seminars related to thesis writing, publications and career development for PhD students.
In addition, we have a program of public events (roundtables, seminars, keynotes) on China. These occur throughout the year and are in both Chinese and English.
The Centre regularly hosts international scholars who come each year to work with staff and students in the Centre.
Student support
The Centre has an extensive array of exchanges and collaborative projects with a number of Chinese universities in which students participate.
Funding for fieldwork, travel and conference participation is available to students.

The Research Areas section of this website also provides a comprehensive overview of ongoing research within the Centre's core research areas.
Prospective students should approach the relevant Centre member for questions regarding research supervision and refer to International Studies postgraduate research degree information before completing the UTS Graduate School application forms.
