History
The UTS China Research Centre was formed in 2007 with funding from the UTS Research Strengths initiative.
In 2008, the Centre received a further AU$ 10 million from the UTS Council as part of the University’s Research Investment Strategy.
This support recognised the extensive success in research and research training on China that had developed in UTS under the auspices of the China Research Group, formerly housed within the Institute of International Studies.
